One of my hobbies is the ongoing affairs of the Dutch Railways and to lesser extent the affairs of the tramway's. This hobby does not stop at the Dutch borders and the railways of our two neighboring countries is part of my interest and when celebrating a holiday in a foreign country, I am always very keen on trying out the local railways.

Of course model railways are a great hobby, but I prefer railways proper. I often travel throughout the whole of the Netherlands to see, or even better sit in trains together with my photo camera. A small amount of the pictures that I make is published in my on-line photo album.
